T30 Min. fire-retardant / RS smoke protection

Fire protection doors are referred to as fire protection closures under building law, as they are used to close openings in fire walls or room-enclosing walls. They are also used in corridors to form fire compartments. Such doors always close tightly and, depending on the design, can also be smoke-tight. To ensure that they are reliably closed in the event of a fire, fire doors must close automatically. They are therefore equipped with a door closer and a lock with a latch. The permanent functionality of this self-closing mechanism must be verified by means of an endurance test, which for doors comprises 200,000 closing cycles from 90°.
Fire doors that are used in interior walls are classified as non-regulated construction products in Germany. They therefore require a certificate of usability - either in the form of a general building authority approval (abZ) from the German Institute for Building Technology (DlBt) or an approval in individual cases (ZiE) from the responsible state authority. For the type of construction itself - i.e. planning, dimensioning and execution - a general type approval (aBG) from the DlBt or a project-related type approval (vBG) from the state authority is also required.
The DlBt is responsible for issuing abZ and aBG for fire protection closures. For the categorisation of the classifications in the building authority requirements, the provisions of the respective state regulations apply in accordance with the Model Administrative Regulation for Technical Building Regulations (MVVTB), Annex 4, Paragraph 5.

Fire-retardant and barrier-free:

The trend towards barrier-free thresholds is unstoppable. Regardless of the ageing population and the desire to live in one's own four walls for as long as possible, threshold-free transitions are simply a matter of convenience today. Doors and French windows must be easy to pass through so that they do not become an obstacle for children, the elderly, wheelchair users and wheelchair users in particular.

For both public buildings and barrier-free flats, there is a requirement to avoid lower door stops. If there is no other technical solution, the height of door thresholds must not exceed 20 mm. Nevertheless, these 20 mm represent an obstacle that must be overcome. With the threshold tested by us, this "stumbling step" is also a thing of the past.

Fire protection and accessibility can therefore be combined in many ways.

Delivery can be made nationwide. Deliveries to other European countries are also possible on request.
