In Germany, this classification is based on two authoritative standards. On the one hand, the national, older standard <strong>DIN 4102-2<\/strong> with the title \u201eFire behaviour of building materials and building components; components, terms, requirements and tests\u201c and on the other hand on the European standard <strong>DIN EN 13501-2<\/strong>, which regulates the \u201eFire behaviour classification of construction products and types of construction - Part 2: Classification using the results of fire resistance tests, with the exception of ventilation systems\u201c.<br>In test procedures according to <strong>DIN 4102-2<\/strong> or after <strong>DIN EN 1363-1<\/strong> (\u201eFire resistance tests - Part 1: General requirements\u201c), the respective fire resistance class must be indicated by corresponding <strong>Fire resistance tests<\/strong> must be verified. The fire resistance classes according to the European standard are <strong>more complex structure<\/strong> than the previous national regulation. It should also be noted that the <strong>European standard is gradually replacing the German standard<\/strong> has.<br>Our <strong>F30 fire-resistant windows for outdoor use<\/strong> were therefore recognised in accordance with <strong>European regulation<\/strong> tested. The standard <strong>DIN EN 13501-2<\/strong> regulates not only the classification, but also the <strong>Designation of fire protection elements<\/strong>.
